Today’s bird drop

Common Startlings are roughly 8in in length and covering in black feathers with metallic green and purple iridescence and a bright yellow bill. They are known for being highly social and offer vocal mimics incorporating sounds of other birds and humans into their song. Commonly found in rural areas as well as cities but I think the most interesting place they are found it’s nesting cavities. This bit of information caught my attention because my kitchen exhaust fan has vent has been inhabited by a family of birds for the past couple of months and this very strong evidence leads me to believe that I have just met my noisy roommates. Anyway welcome Startling Family to the bird drop community. Have a bite and stay awhile.
